Tickets cancellation
Tickets can be cancelled only from our office or every Shipping Company's Central Office. Cancellation Fees

* Aegean Speed Lines
The tickets are not fully refunded after issue. According to the policy of the company they can EITHER be made of OPEN date so you can use them within 12 months OR they can be 50% refunded ,under the condition that you bring / send them back to us before the departure day. Tickets can be reverted into OPEN status the latest 24 HOURS prior to departure time.

* Agoudimos Lines
- Full refund from the day of issue until 48 hours prior to departure.
- 50% cancellation fees from 48 until 24 hours prior to departure.
- No refund from 24 hours until departure.

* Anek Lines:
- Full refund from the day of issue until 30 days prior to departure.
- 20% cancellation fees from 29 until 7 days prior to departure.
- 50% cancellation fees from 6 days until 24 hours prior to departure.
- No refund from 24 hours until departure.
Super Economy Fares ( 19,00 euro) After issue the tickets can not be changed / can not revert to open / can not cancelled.

* Blue Star Ferries
HIGH SEASON: 26/03/10-11/04/10 & 11/06/10-19/09/10
7 days prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
From 7 days and up to 4 hours prior to departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date.
4 hours prior and up to the departure: 50% cancellation fees must be paid.
After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.

For the period 26/03/10-03/04/10 & 20/05/10-22/05/10 for all departures from Piraeus or Rafina and for the period 04/04/10-11/04/10 & 24/05/10-25/05/10 for all departures to Piraeus or Rafina, tickets are cancelled without charge or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date, 14 days prior to departure.

LOW SEASON: All other dates except those mentioned in HIGH SEASON
3 days prior to departure: Tickets are cancelled without charge or can be converted to open date tickets.
From 3 days and up to 1 hour prior to departure: A 50% cancellation charge is applied or alternatively tickets can be converted to open date tickets or for another departure date
1 hour prior and up to the departure: 50% cancellation fees must be paid.
After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or to travel another date.

OPEN DATE TICKETS: Open date tickets are cancelled without charge when they have been originally issued as open date. If they have been converted to open date, a 50% cancellation fee applies.

ATTENTION
1) After departure tickets are neither cancelled nor reverted to open and the date of travel cannot be changed.
2) Tickets already reverted to open are cancelled with 50 % cancellation fees.
3) Tickets are cancelled only through the agency of issue. Tickets are not cancelled by phone and their owners should deliver them to the agency of issue.
4) OPEN tickets are valid for 12 months

Super Economy Fares ( 10,00 / 19,00 / 20,00 euro) After issue the tickets can not be changed / can not revert to open / can not cancelled.
Special Economy Fares  ( 29,00 euro) After issue the tickets can be changed but not cancelled

* Endeavor Lines
· Up to 30 days prior to departure: cancellation fees 20% of the fare.
· From 30 to 7 days prior to departure: cancellation fees 40% of the fare.
· From 7 days up to the day before departure: cancellation fees 75% of the fare.
· On the days of departure or failure to travel (non show): cancellation fees 100% of the fare.
· Changes in Reservations between the 30th and 7th day before departure are subject to a charge of 20% of the fare, otherwise the above cancellation fees are applied.

Hellenic Seaways tickets with special offer  20,00 ¤  or 15,00 ¤  are non refundable and cannot be turned into Open status.

* Minoan Lines:
- 10% cancellation fees from the day of issue until 30 days prior to departure.
- 25% cancellation fees from 29 until 7 days prior to departure.
- 50% cancellation fees from 7 days until 24 hours prior to departure.
- No refund from 24 hours until departure.
Super Economy Fares ( 19,00 euro) After issue the tickets can not be changed / can not revert to open / can not cancelled.
Special Economy Fares  ( 29,00 euro) After issue the tickets can be changed but not cancelled

* Nel Lines
Up to 4 days prior to departure tickets are cancelled with 15% deduction on the total cost or reverted into open date tickets (valid for 12 months) or replaced for another date.
Up to 3 days prior to departure there is 50% deduction as cancellation penalty.
24 HOURS prior to departure tickets can be either reverted to open date tickets or replaced for another date.
ALSO tickets can be 100% cancelled within 30 MINUTES after issue.

* Super Jet / Iason Jets
1) Tickets are cancelled without cancellation fees or reverted to OPEN at least 3 days prior to departure.
2) Three (3) Days up to 24 hours before departure tickets are cancelled with 50 % cancellation fees or reverted to OPEN / OTHER DATE
3) 24 hours before departure tickets are cancelled with 50 % cancellation fees and NOT reverted to Open.

* Superfast Ferries
- 100% refund, up to 21 days prior to departure.
- 50% refund, from 20 days to 24 hours prior to departure.
- Superfast Ferries S.A. or Blue Star Ferries S.A. have no obligation to refund 24 hours prior to
ship's departure or if the passenger does not report at check-in.
- In the event of a partial cancellation of a round trip ticket, the ticket holder will be charged a
SUPERONE (one way) fare.
Super Economy Fares ( 19,00 euro) After issue the tickets can not be changed / can not revert to open / can not cancelled.
Special Economy Fares  ( 29,00 euro) After issue the tickets can be changed but not cancelled

* Ventouris Ferries
· From ticket issue date until 30 days prior departure, 100% refund
· From 30 days to 48 hours prior to departure 80% refund
· From 48 to 24 hours prior to departure, 50% refund
· Less that 24 hours prior to departure, VENTOURIS FERRIES bears no obligation to return the value of the ticket.

* Ticket Changes
Á) For every change you make there is a changing fee of ¤ 5.00 if the total cost of your reservation is up to ¤200.00 and ¤ 10.00 if the total cost is over ¤200.00

Â) If we have sent the tickets to you, you will probably have to return them to us. The new tickets can either be sent to you again if you agree to pay the delivery cost again or we can arrange for you to collect them at the port office on the day of the departure free of charge (If the shipping company supports the Prepaid Ticket ) .

* Loss of tickets
If you lose your tickets, you have to:
1) State the loss in writing to HELLAS FERRIES CENTER Ltd.

2) In order to travel it will be necessary to purchase new tickets.
Provided that, by the end of the year, the Shipping Company audit files show that the ticket(s) have not been used you are eligible either for a refund or a new ticket of equal value. This condition depends on the ferry company.

Sailing Delays
Our Company is not responsible for any delay in sailing, deviation or modification of the scheduled route, due to the bad weather conditions, the orders of the Ministry of Merchant Marine, the Port authorities or due to force majeure, that may affected passengers' safety. In case the voyage is canceled off due to force majeure (e.g. bad weather conditions ) or due to the shipping company's responsibility, passengers are entitled to a full refund while the company ( Paleologos s.a. ) has no further obligation. Timetables, fares and travel conditions are subject to modifications, which are published through every shipping company's online reservation system on our website www.hellasferries.gr

The shipping companies reserve the right to substitute the vessel for which the ticket was issued upon approval from the Ministry of Merchant Marine.

Passengers' Name List
Pursuant to EU Directive 98/41, the shipping company has the obligation to keep a passengers' name list of every voyage, for safety reasons. For the purposes of such registration, tickets should be issued in the name of each passenger and should especially include:
· PASSENGER'S SURNAME AND INITIAL
· GENDER: MALE/FEMALE
· AGE: ADULT- CHILD - INFANT
· TYPE OF VEHICLE AND PLATE NUMBER
Furthermore, our company should be informed by any passenger who needs SPECIAL CARE, upon the issuance of the relevant ticket.

It is pointed out that the issuance of tickets on board is strictly prohibited. Therefore, for convenience reasons as well, the booking and issuance of tickets should be affected always on time.

Fares / Discounts
The fares include sea passage in selected accommodation and all port charges (for Domestic lines only). Meals and beverages are not included.

All discounts are not cumulative and only the highest discount is granted at a time, when applicable conditions are met.

Passengers entitled to discounted fares are kindly requested to state it at the time of booking and carry with them all the necessary proof documents during the tickets issue as well as the check-in procedure. Once the ticket is issued, no refunds are provided for price differences.

Children under the age of 5 (infants) travel free of charge and exclusively on DECK accommodation category in  Conventional ferries. In other type of accommodations (e.g. cabins) are entitled to 50% discount (children's fare). They also travel free of charge in all accommodation categories in High Speed vessels.

Children 5-10 years old benefit with 50% reduction of the total fare, in all accommodation categories, in Conventional and High Speed vessels.

Only students from Greek public universities are entitled to student's discount.

Safety on Board
Neither the Shipping Companies nor the ships are liable for any accident, loss or damage occurring prior to boarding, during loading and after disembarkation.

It is strictly forbidden for passengers to carry firearms, explosives, flammables, combustibles and other dangerous substances or materials on board.

According to the High Speed code safety regulations, passengers are not allowed to stay at any open area of the High Speed vessels during the sailing.

Luggage
Luggage may be left inside vehicles. Passengers are kindly requested to take their personal belongings that may use during the voyage.

Access to the ship's garage during the voyage is prohibited.

The Shipping Companies shall not be held liable in case of loss of money or valuables stored in cars, luggage, common areas or cabins. Passengers are welcome to check cash and valuables with the Purser's office for safekeeping.

Pets
Pets travel free of charge. Pets are not allowed in indoor public areas or cabins. Pet owners are responsible for feeding and pet hygiene. Pet owners are required to have their pet's valid health papers with them.

General Information
Passengers are responsible for complying with all Port, Health and customs regulations.

Passengers ought to comply with the ship's captain and crew instructions regarding public order and safety on board.

Passengers must contact the captain or crew should a complaint arises while on board. For complaints or recommendations, they may also contact HELLAS FERRIES CENTER Ltd. From the date of issue of the ticket until 8 days before the scheduled time of departure: Tickets can be cancelled without cancellation penalties if the whole body of the ticket is returned or they can be converted to open date tickets. From 7 days up until the scheduled time of departure: Tickets can be cancelled with a cancellation penalty of 50% as long as the whole body of the ticket is returned or alternatively, they can be converted to open date tickets.
After departure: Tickets cannot be cancelled, cannot be converted to open date, and no change of date is possible. · Tickets can only be cancelled by the travel agents by which they were issued; they cannot be cancelled by phone. · Persons wishing to cancel a ticket must deliver it to the agency that has issued it.

* G.A. Ferries tickets are not fully refunded ( According to the company's policy they can EITHER be made OPEN so you can use them within 6 months OR can be 50% refunded ONLY in case that we have them in our hands at least 16 days before the departure date).  Tickets can be reverted into OPEN status until 5 Days before the departure time.

* Hellas Speed Cat. Tickets cancellation: Up to *14 days before departure date: 100% refund on tickets value.
Up to *7 days before departure date: 75% refund on tickets value.

2) Seven (7) Days up to departure tickets are cancelled with 50 % cancellation fees or reverted to OPEN / OTHER DATE (at least 4 hours prior to departure).

Low Season:
1) Tickets are cancelled without cancellation fees or reverted to open 3 days prior to departure.
2) Three (3) Days up to departure tickets are cancelled with 50 % cancellation fees or reverted to OPEN / OTHER DATE (at least 2 hours prior to departure).

ATTENTION

24 HOURS prior to departure tickets can be either reverted to open date tickets or replaced for another date.
ALSO tickets can be 100% cancelled within 30 MINUTES after issue.

* Strintzis Ferries
High Season 01/06/10 - 15/09/10 :
1) Tickets are cancelled without cancellation fees or reverted to OPEN at least 7 days prior to departure.
2) Seven (7) Days up to 12 hours before departure tickets are cancelled with 25 % cancellation fees.
3) 12 hours before departure tickets are cancelled with 50 % cancellation fees.
4) Tickets can be reverted into OPEN status until 1 Day (24Hours) before the departure time.

SPECIAL OFFERS
10¤ to the Cyclades(a) & 20¤ to the Dodecanese(b) & to Crete(c): The offer is valid for all destinations, in Economy class, from and to Piraeus & Rafina, for limited number of tickets. Tickets must be issued upon booking, cannot be cancelled or converted to open date tickets or for another departure date. The ticket is issued in the passenger¢s name, is personal and non transferable.
(a) Valid for F/Bs Blue Star Paros, Blue Star Naxos, Blue Star Ithaki & Superferry II.
(b) Valid for F/Bs Blue Star 1, Blue Star 2 & Diagoras.
(c) Valid for F/B Superfast XII.

ATTENTION

Passengers entitled to discounted fares are kindly requested to state it at the time of booking and carry with them all the necessary proof documents during the tickets issue as well as the check-in procedure. Once the ticket is issued, no refunds are provided for price differences.

Children under the age of 5 (infants) travel free of charge and exclusively on DECK accommodation category in  Conventional ferries. In other type of accommodations (e.g. cabins) are entitled to 50% discount (children's fare). They also travel free of charge in all accommodation categories in High Speed vessels.

Children 5-10 years old benefit with 50% reduction of the total fare, in all accommodation categories, in Conventional and High Speed vessels.

Only students from Greek public universities are entitled to student's discount.

Safety on Board
Neither the Shipping Companies nor the ships are liable for any accident, loss or damage occurring prior to boarding, during loading and after disembarkation.

It is strictly forbidden for passengers to carry firearms, explosives, flammables, combustibles and other dangerous substances or materials on board.

According to the High Speed code safety regulations, passengers are not allowed to stay at any open area of the High Speed vessels during the sailing.

Luggage
Luggage may be left inside vehicles. Passengers are kindly requested to take their personal belongings that may use during the voyage.

Access to the ship's garage during the voyage is prohibited.

The Shipping Companies shall not be held liable in case of loss of money or valuables stored in cars, luggage, common areas or cabins. Passengers are welcome to check cash and valuables with the Purser's office for safekeeping.

Pets
Pets travel free of charge. Pets are not allowed in indoor public areas or cabins. Pet owners are responsible for feeding and pet hygiene. Pet owners are required to have their pet's valid health papers with them.

General Information
Passengers are responsible for complying with all Port, Health and customs regulations.

Passengers ought to comply with the ship's captain and crew instructions regarding public order and safety on board.
